Virola spp / Epena
There are many different varieties of Virola (Epena) all of which have a long history of playing a deep spiritual role in the Ayahuasca ceremony. The resinous bark is also very strong and is often used for making crafts, furniture and other wood-work arts in South America. Some of the most beautiful wood crafts we have ever seen have been crafted with Virola barks.
