Germination Instructions:
1.) Sprinkle on the surface of a well-drained, damp soil mix
2.) Mist lightly
3.) Keep in bright, indirect light
4.) Humidity dome is recommended to keep seed from drying out5.) Once seeds sprout (1-2 weeks) remove dome, provide good air circulation
6.) Transplant only after second set of leaves (or more) appear
Detailed Plant Description:
Heimia salicifolia is a perennial ornamental shrub growing to heights of 3m tall. It grows 5 petaled yellow flowers that are usually 2-3cm in diameter. The shrub's leaves grow from 3-5cm long and usually about 1cm wide.
Plant Care:
Water seedlings with a very fine mist and as the plant grows continue to water lightly. Keep it in a very well-drained soil mix in partial shade.
