SACRED THORN APPLE

Datura wrightii

Germination Instructions:

1.) Sprinkle seeds and cover lightly with a damp loose, well drained soil mix
2.) Place in a warm, bright location away from direct sunlight
3.) Keep soil damp at all times (do not overwater or let dry out)
4.) Germination usually takes 1-2 weeks

5.) GA-3 (Giberrellic Acid-3) at 500ppm/4hr soak assists in rates but is not required

Detailed Plant Description:

D. wrightii is a herbaceous perennial that reaches heights of 1.5 metres tall. It has rounded leaves closer to the bottom and more pointed near th top. The flowers are incredible; large white trumpet sometimes blended with a striking purple. Each flower has 5 symmetrical points and can be as large as 8 inches long. It blooms at dark and withers at sunrise, blooming from April to October in the right clear conditions.

Plant Care:

This Datura is very easy to grow once seeds have germinated. Keep soil damp... other then that not only does it grow like a weed, it is one!
