Our Buchu leaf is cultivated, harvested and prepared organically. It is finely powdered.

Traditional & Modern Use:
As an infusion, decoction or tincture, Buchu has had a strong reputation for being a very effective cure for hangover from alcohol and entheogenic experiences. The Hotentots tribe from South Africa used it as perfume and a strong concoction was used as an external disinfectant and antiseptic for wounds, bites, stings and itch. In England it was commonly used for coughs and colds as well as a disinfectant for the urinary tract and kidneys.
