Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) Egyptian "Private Reserve" Flowers

Nymphaea caerulea

Our amazingly fragrant, organic and freshly harvested Blue Lotus flowers are cultivated on a small private reserve near the base of the Nile in Egypt (home of the Sacred Lily). They are  truly impressive and superior in potency to any other N. caerulea out there judging from our research and testing in our labs. In fact this product receives some of the highest praise from our customers.

Traditional & Modern Use:
Blue Lotus, also known as "The Narcotic Lily of the Nile" is intensely adored as they strongly influenced the cultural and spiritual enlightenment of ancient Egyptian people. The Egyptians knew of a child-like god that arose from a single mystical flower when the petals gently opened. This child washed away the darkness and was known as "the beginning of life". They have been said to possess an amazing intoxicating "essence" bringing with it feelings of euphoria and bliss when they are smoked or soaked in water or wine and drank; historically 10 grams were soaked in wine for 2 weeks before being consumed and usually were accompanied with a cigarette made with the petals. The Blue Lotus, both as a common symbol and a spiritual monument have swept over the world, gaining deep respect even amongst people of the Buddhist community.

When burned on a charcoal tablet or made into an incense stick/cone blue lotus makes an extremely sweet exotic incense.
