Banisteriopsis caapi "Red" Genuine McKenna Organic Well-Established Plant

Banisteriopsis caapi

NOW SHIPPING WORLDWIDE FROM THE USA!

This is ground-breaking news! And yes you heard us right... These are GENUINE McKenna "Red" Strain Ayahuasca plants sent from Terrence McKenna's private farm to a friend on the big Island of Hawaii where they were then grown out further and cuttings sent to us! The original mother plants were brought back from Peru and grown out into the largest B. caapi known to man; some of the vines measure up to 10-12" in diameter! We have now fully rooted and established a very few for sale and guaranteed these will go very quickly! This is the most sought after of the Banisteriopsis caapi strains because of its rarity, uniqueness and powerful spirit, which is why it is so much desired for Ayahuasca ceremonies... A must have for any collector! These vines have been evaluated by a well-known Shaman and professional botanist who can hold the plant close to himself and identify its soul and this is verified as the real deal!

Traditional Use:
Stories on ayahuasca vary from tribe to tribe and region to region.  Ayahuasca, yage, caapi, etc. are all tribal names that refer to both the plant and the brew.  Each tribe has a very specific origin myth associated with the vine.  Most names translate to mean "vine of souls" or "vine of the dead" as it is believed that the departed climb to heaven on the vines.  This fits well with the common motif of the "World Tree" or Axis Mundi.  The roots are the underworld, the trunk the middle world or realm of people, and the canopy would be symbolic of the ethereal realm.  Symbolism is complex and variable among the tribes.  Many have a story about how an ancient ancestor received the vine from a god. Then it was given to all people for healing.

We offer these specimens for ornamental value to display and cherish in remembrance of a well-respected culture rich with shamanistic healing. Ingestion may be dangerous... DO NOT CONSUME!
